I am 16, going on 17

Why hello there little blog!

I guess with all of my writing for my masters degree, I needed some time to just enjoy, spend time with my girl and not write....for many weeks. Well it has been about 4 weeks since I last wrote. Its time to dive into this story again.

I have been reflecting on mother-hood a lot recently. How wonderful it is. I still find myself marveled at this sweet baby, who was actualy growing inside me at one point. It is amazing what a baby does. You know, those cheesy commericals that say, "having a baby, changes everything". Well, that is true. I have always thought of my life of "if I hadn't done this...." or "if I hadn't met so-and-so" so many wonderful, joyus things would not be in my life.

Here is one example:

*if my parents had never divorced....
*my dad would have never remarried
*my step-mom would have never sent me to summer camp
*I would have never met B, therefore we wouldn't be married...yadda yadda yadda...

 As a mother, I find myself constantly reflecting on everything. Some would say that is exhasuting...I find it exciting. By giving birth to a wonderful child I am more motivated than ever in my life to make things more creative, heathly, organized, and well-rounded. Might have I been this way as well just from getting older and wiser? Possibly, but in my case I am giving my daughter (and my amazing husband) all the credit.

 *   *   *

After I finihsed my masters, it has been so relaxing just enjoying all of the time I have with Moey.
