10 Month Moey!

Our Moey Moo is 10 months old!

She is amazing.

Some new favorites:

- Cruising! She loves to hold onto the couches and move all around!

- Waving! She waves to everyone and everything. Even things that aren't there! haha!

- Frowning....a brand new trick! Especially when she is near people she doesn't know, or we take a toy away. Its so cute how she furrows her brow and scrunches up her nose. I keep trying to capture it on camera!

- Curls! Her hair is continuing to grow out of control :) When it is wet, her hair curls into tight ringlets. We are enjoying putting barrettes in her hair now! We like to call her Doc Brown and yell MARTY!!! when her hair gets super out of control.


She is starting to understand so much more and really learning to use her voice. She can follow simple commands like; "Put your arms up!" "Come here Moey!" and when she is tired, "put your head down baby."

Today I had the day off and we went around town doing errands; it was so fun just talking to her. She was sitting in her stroller just observing her world and singing quietly to herself. I had Bon Iver on in the car and Moey got very quiet and started la, la, la-ing.....herself to sleep.

I love that Moey.....

I love holding her and smelling her sweet hair.

I love putting both hands around her cheeks to hold her smile.

I love how chubby her feet are and how she loves to push up on her tippy-toes.

I love how she loves her bottle, and loves to feed herself while playing with her hair.

I love how she gets goosey whenever Papa comes home.

I love how she chases us through the house.

I love how content she is, and how she will just sit and play or look at books.


We love you Moey Moo.

Moey painted some pictures as Christmas presents. It was adorable. 

9 Months Old

We have a nine month old.

She crawls.

She stands.

She says: Momma, Dada, Baba.

She reaches up her arms...opens and closes her hands very fast when she wants us to pick her up.

She's an awesome sleeper, like she always has been. She now is sleeping in her crib full time....we aren't co-sleeping as much as we used to since she is so mobile. We miss her in the bed, but she has been sleeping so well I don't think our Moey minds too much. :) A normal night is bath at 6:30, playtime until 7:00, bottle and rocking until she falls asleep, and she wakes up around 6.

She eats everything! Favorites:
- Strawberry/apple puffs
- Cheerios
- Yo-baby vanilla/banana organic yogurt
- ANY mix of ANY fruit, but we still stay away from peaches.....
- She loves to try stuff off of our plate.
- BREAD, and crackers.
- Still loves carrots, peas, and green beans.
- Cut up banana - even though it is so slimy it squeezes through her fingers!
- Chicken noodle soup from Ella's kitchen. It has the tiniest noodles in it! SO cute. Moey was chewing her noodles tonight at dinner.

She is starting to love to hold her own spoon while we feed her. She loves to give herself a bottle, but not for bed time, she wants us to hold it.

We are going to try some egg yolks this weekend. :) I am thinking of making some french toast for her.

Favorite Toys:
- Her baby gates, she loves to bring a toy over, pull her self up and bang the toy against the bars. "Let me outta here!"
- Books
- Activity Table
- Her Noah's Ark play-set, she loves the zebras.
- Anything that makes noise.
- Cell phones
- Channel changers
- The laptop
- And, of course, Denise, Louise, and our newest addition: Tyreese the dog.

She also loves FaceTime and Skype with her grandparents. :)

It is so amazing how fast she is growing and developing. She started crawling January 2nd....its ten days later and I swear she will be walking by the end of this month, early February. She amazes us every day with her smarts, her awareness and her funny personality.

Holding on to her baby-hood is like holding on to water. It keeps slipping through our fingers!

She's such a magical baby.
